THE WONDERS | Christopher Schneberger

His photographs are held in collections such as The Art Institute of Chicago and the Taubman Museum of Art. Wonders is a photographic series inspired by childhood explorations and Rebecca Solnit’s reflections on getting lost. Through staged, semi-narrative scenes of young women journeying in natural landscapes, the series explores themes of adventure, uncertainty, and self-reliance. Created during a time of personal questioning, the work embraces the act of losing one’s way as a vital step toward finding new paths. Wonders celebrates the transformative power of wandering—both in the world and within oneself.
